Sand Man

  • Direct Gear Drive. 0,85 meter wide clean. Adjustable to 10cm Cleaning Depth
  • The Sand Man elevates all the sand onto a vibrating screen then deposits all too large for screen into 2x collection bins. (Supplied with 3x screens: 5, 9 and 15mm all galvernized)

Seaweed / Algae:

The SURF RAKE is the only beach cleaner that easily removes wet, heavy seaweed. Barber beach cleaners excel at cleaning in wet sand areas, where seaweed washes up on a daily basis.

Removal of Encroaching Grass:

The stainless steel tines of Barber beach cleaners can be easily set to remove non-indigenous encroaching grass from beach sand.

Small material: shell, glass, and cigarette butts:
The time-tested Barber conveyor system design of offset rows allows the stainless tines to collect even the smallest debris. Equally as important as collecting small material, like cigarette butts, is the fact that Barber beach cleaners accomplish this task without collecting sand.

Litter Collection:

Barber beach rakes can be used to collect litter from grass park areas and fairgrounds. The optional casters make operating the SURF RAKE for this application fast and easy. Particularly after major holidays or events, many beach customers find that the versatility of the SURF RAKE's mechanical raking technology saves time and manpower

The main reason why Ritlee have chosen Barber beach / Golf & Turf / Road & Road Verge cleaners is:

The unique spring steel cleaning tines (Illustrated below) which do not get damaged when hard big contaminents are struck during operation. They just ride over the object then spring back into normal action without damage to the unit.

Also, The exceptionally large range of litter, plastic, glass, waste, stones, etc it will pick up in one pass.

According to Durban Municipality Parks Workshops, their 600HD has operated a minumum of 300 days a year for 17 years now. They replace worn tines once every 6 years or so and rescently they had to replace a hydraulic component. Other than this it has worked perfectly all this time.
