Typical
chips generated from debarked and deleafed wood

Drum
Style Chipper with steel fan in its own compartment to assist
with discharge when light material like leaves and grass are
fed through chipper. |
-
Beever
20, 18, 15 with off center mounted Chip
pocket with double sided blade in chipper drum.
-
In
Drum Style chipping profile chipping blade works directly
(Parallel) onto wood being cut, thus there is NO
sideways slap of wood being chipped, and also the wear
on the blades is kept to a minimum.
-
Drum
style chipper blades last up to 10 times longer than
disc style chipper blades.-- (Imagine cutting a pencil
with a scissors, the wood is forced down the blade until
you stop the pencil. Same principal on a disc style
chipper. This rasping really wears the trimness of the
blade.)
-
All
models have fan mounted into special fan compartment
to assist with throw, especially when light material
such as leaves etc are fed through.
-
Note
Heavy duty block bearing used on either side which carries
the chipper drum axle
- .

-
Note
Twin Disc Manual clutch in housing which is manually
engaged by the operator when starting to chip brush
and wood.
-
All
models have fan mounted into special fan compartment
to assist with throw, especially when light material
such as leaves etc are fed through.
-
Note
built in lock arrangement for ease of changing reversible
blades.

Illustration:
Principal of how the chipper blade mounted into the drum,
works (Parallel) straight onto the wood being chipped. (Not
like a disc style chipper where the blade works at a angle.
Imagine cutting a pencil with a scissors--- The pencil is
pushed down the blade until the pencil is stopped. The same
effect on a disc style chipper. This is the main reason why
DRUM style chipper blades last up to 10 times longer.--Thus
10x more good quality chips!!)
